Rolling Mill Experience Since 1991
The company began its manufacturing operations with a steel bar rolling mill offering an annual capacity of 250,000 tonnes. Its production infrastructure was strengthened through a modernisation and capacity expansion programme completed in 2006.
These investments increased the facility’s annual production capacity to 400,000 tonnes. Today, the company operates within Tosyalı Holding under the name Tosyalı Yapı Çelik.
Manufacturing Facility in Dörtyol, Hatay
The facility is located in the Kuru Dere area of the Dörtyol Industrial Zone in Hatay, Türkiye. It includes 28,072 square metres of outdoor space and 20,747 square metres of covered space.
The production halls accommodate three principal functions:
- Raw material receiving: Areas for receiving the materials used in production.
- Manufacturing: Rolling mill areas where plain and deformed reinforcing steel is produced.
- Finished product storage: Areas for storing products after manufacturing.
This layout supports the production flow from raw material receiving through to finished product storage.
Plain and Deformed Reinforcing Steel Production
The facility manufactures plain and deformed reinforcing steel in diameters ranging from 8 to 32 mm. The two product categories differ in their surface characteristics.
The ribs on deformed reinforcing steel contribute to the bond between steel and concrete. Plain reinforcing steel has a surface without ribs. Product selection should follow the structural design, applicable standards and project specifications.
