TOSYALI HOLDING IS HEALING THE WOUNDS WITH 6 THOUSAND EMPLOYEES IN THE EARTHQUAKE ZONE

With its 6,000 employees, Tosyalı Holding is still healing the wounds in İskenderun and Osmaniye, where its facilities are situated in an earthquake-prone area. In addition to housing 4,000 people in the vicinity of the İskenderun Sarıseki facility and housing 150 employees and their families at its Osmaniye facility, Tosyalı Holding provides housing for its own employees as well as the employees of its business partners. It has begun delivering specially designed containers—which are not your typical prefabricated containers—made of materials appropriate for the local climate and that can accommodate all of a home's necessities to the locations that each employee requests by installing the necessary infrastructure.

In order to recover, Tosyalı Holding is assisting its 6,000 workers in İskenderun and Osmaniye, where its facilities are situated in an earthquake-prone area. With specially designed living spaces, Tosyalı Holding mobilizes all its means to reestablish life, offering its employees all kinds of opportunities, including shelter and nutrition.

As a company that provides housing for 4,000 people in the vicinity of the İskenderun Sarıseki facility and accommodates 150 employees and their families at its Osmaniye facility, Tosyalı Holding has begun to set up specially designed containers—as opposed to standard prefabricated containers—where the necessities of a house can be satisfied with materials appropriate for the local climate.

Tosyalı is installing the 300 containers it delivered to Osmaniye wherever its employees ask it to, while also considering their needs. Tosyalı Holding said in a statement that because people want to live their lives as they choose, the containers are placed wherever the best location is in relation to their towns, villages, or ancestral homes. By the end of April, 650 containers—complete with all necessary utilities, such as water and electricity—will be delivered.

In order to restore employment and life in the area, the 4,000-person living area built next to Tosyalı Holding's facility in Iskenderun Sarıseki is crucial. Additionally, Tosyalı Holding is still working nonstop to finish building one of the biggest iron and steel plants in Turkey here. In this area, a large number of people are hosted, including numerous foreign and local specialists. In addition to the 120 containers that Tosyalı Holding has placed here, the workers of the business partners constructing the facility also get various amenities, particularly three hot meals, in this four thousand person living area.
