TOSYALI HOLDING MADE A SHOW OF STRENGTH WITH ITS INNOVATIVE GREEN STEEL PRODUCTS AT THE MADE IN STEEL FAIR HELD IN MILAN.

Tosyalı Holding participated in the Made in Steel Fair, one of the most important iron and steel fairs in the world, held in Milan, Italy on May 9-11 with Tosçelik profile and Sheet. Tosçelik, one of the largest exhibitors of the fair, was one of the most visited companies by the participants with its innovative green steel products in the "Pipe", "Hollow Section", "Sheet", "Wire Rod" and "Rolling Mill" product groups exhibited in its 200 m2 booth area.

Tosyalı Holding, one of the world's leading green steel producers, made a Show of strength at Made in Steel Fair, one of the most important iron and steel fairs in the world. Tosyalı Holding participated in the fair held in Milan, Italy on May 9-11 with Tosçelik Profile and Sheet company and hosted its visitors in a large area of 200 m2. The booth area where Tosyalı's innovative products in the "Pipe", "Hollow Section", "Sheet", "Wire Rod" and "Rolling Mill" product groups were exhibited was the center of attention. In this fair, where iron and steel sector customers in the European market, where Tosyalı Holding companies realize approximately 40 percent of their total exports, attach great importance to, Tosyalı Holding showed that it will be one of the leading green steel producers for the European market in the EU Green Deal process with its investments in green steel production.

Şerif Tosyalı, Member of the Board of Directors, expressed the great importance they attach to this fair by participating in Made in Steel Fair, one of the world's largest iron and steel fairs, with Tosçelik and continued his words as follows: "This fair targets products in the sheet and pipe profile category. We, with Tosçelik, are one of the world's leading green steel producers in these product groups. We will further increase our power in green steel production with the production of qualified steel in different categories, especially flat steel, which we will realize at the Tosyalı Demir Çelik Sarıseki Facility in İskenderun 2nd Organized Industrial Zone, which we are counting the days for its opening. This facility, which will be the first in Turkey to use Quantum Furnace technology, which provides lower electrical energy consumption, will consume 30% less electricity and 15% less natural gas with the advanced technologies it uses. Thanks to renewable energy sources and more efficient scrap utilization, it will produce 70% less carbon footprint than blast furnaces and 20% less than traditional arc furnaces.  With this facility, which is the center of Green Steel in Turkey, we will be able to respond more strongly to customers' demands for qualified and green steel products both in the domestic market and in new export markets with new product groups. As Tosyalı Holding, our total capacity will increase to 10 million tons with our new facility and we will continue our growth in the global steel market by introducing products that we have never produced before."

Tosyalı becomes Turkey's largest wire rod producer.

With the opening of Tosyalı Demir Çelik Sarıseki Plant, Tosyalı Holding will be able to produce many qualified steel products. The Industry 4.0 compatible facility, which will realize the world's fastest slab casting, will be able to produce 500 different grades of steel. It will be able to produce sheet steel in grades ranging from S235 to X100, coils with a width of 1650mm and thicknesses of 1 to 25 mm and weights up to 40 tons. With the new generation rolling system, it will be able to produce ultra-low carbon steels, deep drawing steels known as IF steels, Box Coke steels, S700 MC series used in Bridge and Mobile Construction Equipment and for the first time in Turkey, X100 grade natural gas pipe steels. With this facility, Tosyalı's total wire rod capacity will increase to 1.3 million tons and Tosyalı will become the largest wire rod producer in Turkey. The wire rod product range will expand; new and higher quality products with medium and high carbon will be produced in this category. With the new investments in Tosyalı and other facilities, Tosyalı will also produce tinplate in many different formats, including chrome-plated tinplate.
